The Two Brewers:

A traditional Old English Gastropub with a riverside restaurant in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, UK

Since 1755, The Two Brewers has been refreshing the downright sociable and the thirsty on the side of the River Thames in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. It has also been rumoured to have been the inn where Jerome K Jerome wrote a few chapters of 'Three Men in a Boat'. Our traditional Old English Gastropub could well have been the local of TS Eliot who lived down the road from our pub.

Over 253 years on, this tradition is still maintained at The Two Brewers. Today, the bar stocks a range of real ales plus lagers and ciders by well known UK based breweries and international brands. Forming the centrepiece of our traditional Old English Gastropub is our riverside restaurant. Noted for its food, it offers the diner views of the River Thames.

Our riverside restaurant offers an extensive menu. This includes bar snacks, luncheon options, our summertime barbecue menu and an 'A La Carte' menu. Special menus are also available for Sunday lunch, Christmas and St. Valentine’s Day, and a wine list also available.

Whether you prefer a cheese Ploughman's lunch or a three course meal, our riverside restaurant will have you spoilt for choice. With a wide range of food, real ale, fine wines and excellent views, our traditional Old English Gastropub is a good all round venue for socialising, organising private functions, business seminars and society meetings. We offer you a choice of three function rooms suitable for parties up to 50 persons.

What's more, our traditional Old English Gastropub is within the town centre of Marlow. Connections to London are maintained by rail through changing at Maidenhead. By boat, a leisurely cruise on the River Thames allows direct access to The Two Brewers (we accommodate both 18th and 21st century forms of transport in the form of ample parking and mooring facilities). Our pub is just off the A404 and the A404(M) (the latter formerly the terminus of the London part of the M4).
